BEN LAURENCE RAGAN

Larry RaganBen Laurence Ragan, known by his friends and family as “Larry,” has experienced God’s work firsthand in more than 50 countries around the world. Larry, founder of CULTURELink, began his international mission work in 1986 when he traveled to the South Pacific. Since then, he has led and/or overseen more than 250 international teams, many of which have been focused on prayer, professional exchanges, teaching English, Christian outreach, building projects, AIDS relief, disaster assistance, hunger relief, and more. As a result, many believers have been mobilized for full-time global involvement.

After completing studies in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology and earning a M.A. in both Cross-Cultural Ministries and Christian Education at Dallas Theological Seminary, he served as the World Missions Pastor at two Atlanta area churches. Larry also serves as a trainer for Perspectives on the World Christian Movement (www.perspectives.org). Larry and his wife, Karen, have served as missionaries with Grace Ministries International in Budapest, Hungary.

In the first ten years of CULTURELink’s existence prior to becoming a non-profit, Larry and his team of trainers equipped more than 2500 short-term team leaders from over 500 different churches to properly disciple teams to impact the nations for Jesus Christ. Larry believes that he has been called to “disciple those who will make disciples of all nations.”

Larry also served for eleven years as a teaching pastor at North Metro Church in Kennesaw, Georgia. He currently ministers full time, training and consulting with CULTURELink and serving as an itinerant speaker, both nationally and internationally, for churches, Campus Crusade for Christ, YWAM, and many other organizations.

Larry lives in Marietta, Georgia with his wife, Karen, their two children, a dog, three cats, and one frog. The animal count does shift daily!

In addition to CULTURELink‘s programs, Larry also serves as an instructor for Perspectives on the World Christian Movement courses in Atlanta. He is available to serve as a guest speaker at your church/organization, a conference keynote speaker, conference workshop/breakout session host, ministry consultant, and adjunct teacher/professor at a collegiate level.
